15 Weeks

Wow, time is flying!  It is hard to believe that baby is now the size of an orange - 10cm long, weighs about 75g and is wriggling around in there all without me feeling anything!  (Yes, I lie in bed or the bath trying to feel movement lol) a couple of times I thought I felt something but think it was probably just gas and I was wishing too hard for it to happen lol.

Am feeling pretty good now, still tired but have had a couple of good days this week.  Actually treated myself to a nice decaf coffee yesterday from the cafe next door to work...it turned out not to be decaf (guess they got sidetracked) and I had the most energy I've had in three whole months!  Trying to give two cats worm tablets with shaky hands was interesting to say the least and I bet baby was bouncing off the walls!

We see our midwife on Tuesday next week...well, actually a backup one as ours is on leave for all of August.  Due to our MW being called out to a labour last time and not getting to see her, this time will be our first official visit where we pick up our notes and I get weighed, pee on a stick and have my BP taken, all the exciting stuff.  The real excitement though is that we will be able to hear baby's heartbeat via doppler!

Forgot to mention we received our ReachMe pack last week!  It is awesome, full of goodies from bibs and nappies to food samples, vouchers and magazines!  If you are in NZ you can order yours from here.

I don't think my belly has grown much this week.  In fact I think it looks smaller!  In my gym pants I look nice and round but in jeans I still just look flabby so will upload a pic of each as I don't wear gym pants normally!  The teeny tiny bump is still pretty low and below my belly button, hopefully it will move up soon :)
