First of all, to clear something up...if you have been following Hamish's baby blog here you will have noticed that he has nicknamed our son 'Thor' for some bizarre reason, this is NOT what his name is going to be! I won't name the person who thought Hamish had given up our boy's name, hehe.
Phew, glad that's outta the way ;-)
Baby McB must be working on his wee muscles in there. He's started waking me up first thing in the morning with his acrobatics, goodness knows what he's doing in there. I am feeling kicks and punches all over, including above my bellybutton now and sometimes feel them everywhere at the same time! Wouldn't trade it for the world though, it's just awesome knowing that he's thriving in there :)
He's weighing in at about a pound now (just under half a kilo) and 28cm long. He looks like a miniature newborn without the chubby cheeks and knees, can hear outside noises and now has the sensation of touch!
I felt my first Braxton Hicks contractions this week, all I can say is ew, what an odd feeling! Other than that I've been getting a bit of cramp in my calves during the night when I stretch my legs.
My pelvis has been feeling better this week. Gave up on the belt and just did the exercises which seem to be helping. Was a little sore and tired today after a 12 hour day but nothing as bad as last week, phew.
Too busy for photo today, will post tomorrow!
I never thought in a million years you would allow Thor as a name! Maybe Thorn teehhee
