25 Weeks

Thank goodness for a short week this week as last weekend was insane!  Being a holiday weekend we had a full cattery of 24 cats and I thought appointments would be slow on Saturday but boy, was I wrong!  I think we ended up seeing half of Christchurch!  Thankfully I had the help of our lovely student  (also my replacement) vet nurse and we were both buggered by the end of the weekend!  It was also the last weekend I will be working in a very long time, I've given my final two away as it's getting too hard on my own.

Have been a bit addicted to TradeMe this week, looking for some nice maternity clothes.  I refuse to fork out $130 for track pants in a maternity shop, that's ridiculous!  Tops are my main problem anyhow and I've managed to pick up 4 for $20 which is a bargain!  Can't wait for them to arrive. 

No news this week really, just the same.  Baby has been a bit more active than last week and is now the size of an eggplant, 34cm long and 690g.  He has fully operational hands complete with nails and fingerprints and is exploring his surroundings with them :)
