We had our scan this afternoon and there is definitely a wriggly creature with an exceptionally fast heart rate in my tummy! It was amazing to see the wee flicker on the screen and just makes it so much more real now that we know it is definitely there and doing well!
We are measuring about a week behind where we thought we were so 8 weeks and 4 days. Bubs is 2cm long and had a heart rate of 176bpm!
We will have another scan in four weeks to measure the nuchal translucency and it will be perfectly timed for when Mum is visiting :)
