Feeling huge this week, maybe it's the warmer weather!
The big jabs and whole belly wobbles are back this week. The little monkey has stopped me in my tracks a couple of times when I've been walking around the mall and he decides to stick something out my side, very odd sensation. He seems to be more active at night now too, I change position quite regularly and it seems to wake him up so he thinks it's play time!
My blood results are all fine. Apparently low iron stores are normal and since everything else is ok then it's nothing to worry about.
Antenatal class was interesting this week, we learned about the stages of labour and for a practical exercise we had to hold a giant ice cube in our hand for a minute, think of it as a contraction (yep, it stung) and think of what we could do for distraction techniques, most of us got the giggles, which I'm sure won't happen when it comes to the real puffing and blowing!
We also did our Tender Shoot antenatal class this morning. It was a wee bit different as it focused on after you get home, how to respond to baby and making ordinary things interesting and educational for them rather than just another task. Kind of hard to explain but I think it was quite interesting and we got to put nappies on and dress dolls, felt a bit of a dick when we had to talk to the motionless, stiff plastic baby though!
Booked in for antenatal breast feeding class on the 21st December too.
Have felt a little nauseous on and off, not sure what that's about but think it might be a reflux sort of thing, feel like my stomach is in my chest. Need to stop being a pig!
Baby's brain is growing and changing from smooth to getting the wrinkly folded look. He's the size of a butternut pumpkin at around 43cm long head to heel and 1.4kg.
BabyMcB saying a quick hi...right at the end.
