The midwife came at 7:15pm and tried another stretch and sweep. Unsuccessful due to not being dilated, cervix still 3cm long, still posterior and was difficult to be brought forward.
Baby still able to be pushed up into floaty space but will drop back again, just won't engage. Not sure why but could be anything from bad baby position, short cord/cord around neck, hands getting in the way (he has them up by his face a lot) or simply he's just not ready to descend yet. We're hoping that my waters will just break and kick things off but midwife is putting in forms for induction tonight which will go ahead on Monday or Tuesday evening starting with Cervidil Gel to ripen the cervix if he's not here by then.
Meanwhile it's lots more kneeling/leaning forward and walking for me.

I hope it all happens naturally for you, but at least now you know that by Wednesday, you will have a little baby in your arms.
