36 Weeks

Well, by my count, 36 weeks is officially 9 months...that's scary!  Things could start to happen any day now, though I won't be officially 'full term' for another two weeks.
My best friend has organised a baby shower for this weekend and we have about 16 people confirmed coming so it should be a good day, some people I haven't seen in ages so it will be great to catch up.  I'm not really into the whole party thing, never hosted one and am a little bit of a socialphobe so am a bit nervous lol.

My ribs are killing me this week, as is my groin, especially first thing in the morning...getting out of bed is super hard and the first few steps are quite painful. I guess this means things are loosening up and getting ready for birth, it's quite amazing what the body can do and how it knows what to do all on its own.  I've also been getting painful cramps when walking.  Pretty much any longer than 15 minutes continual walking will set it off and I have to find somewhere to sit until it passes...not fun when you're at the supermarket and end up walking slow-mo style haha.

Nothing else to report really.  Baby is still wriggling.  His bones have hardened (except the skull), muscle tone has improved and he has a power grip now.  He should be around 5.8lbs and 18.6 inches long (2.6kg & 47cm).
