37 Weeks

A week of pain. Thinking BabyMcB has dropped this past week and putting even more pressure on things if that is possible!  Tuesday was spent on the couch as I couldn't even walk due to pelvic pain and though it's still painful and pretty bad at night time I am glad I can actually move around now.
Also baby's head is resting down low and seems to hit nerves now and then which send some electric shock type feelings where I really don't want them, phew, they take my breath away!

I had my baby shower on Sunday and it was great to have everyone here!  It was a scorcher of a day and with about 18 people in the house it was a tad warm but everyone lasted well.  We were absolutely spoiled rotten with gifts and I've had to repack my hospital bag twice this week because I couldn't decide what to take and ended up with too much in it lol  A huge thank you to everyone who came and especially Mum for helping with all the prep and buying food and Tash for organising and running the party :)  My fave games had to be the knitting with dried spaghetti  (was super impressed with some of the results, it was really hard!) and putting the nappy on the dolly blindfolded.

We picked up the infant capsule from Plunket this week and now that that is in the car we are ready to go, just baby is missing!

Speaking of baby, he's roughly 19-22 inches long and 6.5 lbs.  His lungs are now fully developed so it's pretty much just his wee immune system that is still developing.  He's now considered full-term so if I went into labour now they probably wouldn't stop it, yee har!  Funny...at the beginning of pregnancy, labour is the one of the main things you're apprehensive about, but all the discomforts of late pregnancy make that apprehension disappear and it ends up being something you look forward to.

C'mon BabyMcB, we're ready and waiting for you!

Knitted gifts, gorgeous!
