Well, here we are again, I am 10 weeks pregnant today! This is somewhat of a milestone for us after two early losses this year, the first being an ectopic resulting in the removal of my left tube in May. This pregnancy has so far been a bit worrying too as it seems it is normal for me to spot for weeks on end in the early stages.
Morning sickness kicked in nice and early though so that was some reassurance and was backed up with two scans, one at just under 5 weeks which showed a pregnancy sac in the correct place and another just past 6 weeks that showed a tiny wee blob with a heartbeat!
Having a toddler this time around has certainly proved a bit more challenging. J has been going to daycare 1.5 days a week for 5-6 weeks now since I started working part time. Having him to look after while battling constant nausea (thankfully no vomiting) has been challenging let alone all the bugs he's been bringing home and passing on to me! We've both had a bad run with colds and now Hand, Foot and Mouth which is just awful!
Looking forward to the immune system boosting up a bit and the tiredness/nausea dissipating soon, now that we're coming up to the second trimester. We have our first midwife appointment in a couple of weeks time, had to reschedule that due to illness this week and we will get our 12 week scan referral then too so that will be very exciting.
